Falls Church
Falls Church is an independent city in Northern Virginia (NoVA). Its name originated from The Falls Church (currently The Falls Church Episcopal), an 18th century Church of England, where George Washington once served as a vestryman. The city is only 2.1 square miles long but it is conveniently located off Route 66 and about 7 miles from Washington, D.C. Eden Center, also known as the Little Saigon, is a popular spot for locals and tourists to enjoy Asian grocery shopping and delicious Vietnamese food and drinks. The Falls Church farmers market is also available to locals and tourists year-round every Saturday. Note that Falls Church City does not include all of the area historically known as Falls Church. East Falls Church is part of Arlington County and Seven Corners and other portions of the Falls Church postal districts are now part of Fairfax County.
